Participating in a Ladies’ Bible Study at church is a great way to share the joy of digging into the
Word, holding one another accountable, and getting better acquainted with other women in the
church. But most of our group Bible studies are only eight or ten weeks long. How do you keep
your head in the game the other eight months of the year?
This workshop will include some suggestions and direction on how to stay motivated and
interested in studying on your own, and also give some of you an opportunity to share habits
you’ve developed that help you focus and meditate on God’s Word. I hope you’ll join us and
pick up some tips for making personal Bible study a daily experience.
As a mom, and now a grandma, I am excited to talk about being salt and light in this world as we parent. During our time together, we will visit various challenges and beauties of parenting cover all of the stages in the growing up years and beyond. We will discuss how to maintain our personal relationship with the Lord during this very busy season and the importance of viewing life with an eternal perspective. It can be easy to feel like giving up as a mom, so I hope to encourage you to not lose heart, but to keep on keeping on.
Did you know the Bible says that we are ALL “fearfully and wonderfully” made? That God loves us ALL and that we ALL matter to Him? Join us for a time of fellowship and fun as we take a fresh perspective on how God sees children and adults with special needs. We will hear from parents of children with special needs, explore what it might mean to be salt and light to moms/families with special needs children, and give you practical tools to be the “seasoning” that God may have called you to be in their lives.
